An Australian gaming dad. I work in enterprise support, I spent 10 years living in Sweden.
Installed Stephens Sausage Rolls and promptly failed to figure out and of the 4 or 5 puzzles I tried.

I cannot remember struggling this hard with a puzzle game before

The Legion Go S Steam variant is the same price as the windows one in Australia. Except that the windows one is old and unsuccessful enough that it's on EOFY sale for $899.

So that means it's $300 extra for the same device in black with no Win11 license.

Finally playing Witcher 3. Stumbled across the Harrisi lair while exploring Velen.

Killed it after many, many attempts then thought to check the quests screen.

Recommended Level: 33

Current level: 7, after finishing the quest.

I think I figured out why that fight was so hard....

#FallenLondon has a location for late game players called The Waswood that lets you play through old limited time events you may have missed.

They just added The Starved War to the rotation. It was a cool story I'm sorry I missed the first time around.

The Pebble is coming back www.tomsguide.com/wellness/sma...

I just hope they improve the ability to charge it, if that hadn't become unreliable I would still be using mine.

Thought I had been struggling with bed adhesion with a new roll of filament.

Turns out the bigger problem was back of the model was not flat, so there was very little attached to the bed.

My daughter loved playing Boxes: Lost Fragments, which I would class as a Room-like puzzle game.

Does anyone have any recommendations for more games like that? Other than The Room series of course

Why does my Kindle integrate with Goodreads but not my Audible app?

I was given some water soluble PVA support filament for my birthday. Does anyone have some cool models that otherwise need hard to remove supports?

After about a year and a half I'm finally going to use the 250g sample of red filament my first print came with.

Just not had any prints that have needed red.

I did some Christmas shopping at a mall today.

Its actually kind of nice to wander through stores when you have a rough idea if what you are after.

I do it so rarely but it was fun and now most of my list is done :)

Du many people with all their Christmas stuff set up already.

My wife wants to get a real tree, so the latter we get one the more likely we have a live tree at Christmas

I miss the sick leave system in Sweden. The first day was unpaid, but there was no concept of a limited number of sick days.

Sick leave and carer's leave come from the same pool here in Australia and I have 2 young kids. So my limited pool of days has to cover multiple people.

This question is easily answered. TNG, Q has never been a good character and I do not understand why people seem to like him.

I finally found time to write down and record my thoughts about the 6th #UFO50 game, #Mortol

The project has been greatly hindered by my kids not going to sleep early enough that I still feel like heading out to my desktop to record.

Steam Deck sales are finally live in Australia. Including the limited edition white one.

Why doesn't Valve localise the time shown for these things? 3pm PST on the 18th is a very unintuitive way to declaring when things will be for sale in Australia.

We adopted a cat today. Picked her up after work. She is currently set up in a single room in our house, where she hid in a corner under a fixed desk until it was bed time.

I'll try to get some photos of her tomorrow morning.

Seems like Bluesky has momentum right now, took a long break from actively using twitter, so not sure who to even look up to follow right now.

So I guess I am looking for recommendations, primarily in the gaming and IT spaces
