Some fan art for @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social's Absolution (the third book in the Southern Reach series). Since the first time I read it, this book has been my favorite in the series, and I absolutely love Saul and his character arc.

The attacks on trans rights, which are basic human rights, are a terrible injustice and an attack on truth and fact as well. Everyone should be deeply alarmed and it should be disqualifying for a politician to support such discrimination.

Heard a news anchor recommending you grind up candy canes in a coffee grinder and then use a piece of bread to catch the sticky stuff. So you mean to tell me I have to be worried about gluten in my coffee now??

Me: Does your pumpkin child have a name?

Pumpkin Guy: Not yet.

Me: What?! How old is your pumpkin child?!

PG: A day old.

Me: You let your child smoke but haven't named them?!

PG's Friend: Dude, technically that pumpkin is months old.

Started listening to the new episode of A Bit Fruity and I was like, "Why does this Matt Lieb fellow have such a familiar voice?" And when I stopped driving, I googled him and well. I know him from my program. Link & Rhett.

i’ve got an idea for a sneezing bar where you could come in and sneeze for a while, or if you don’t need to sneeze you could just drop in and blow your nose for a few minutes. the bartender would serve the whole line of kleenex products and would have the scoop about new tissues that are coming out
