No doubt involved some tough, drawn out negotiations, but NYCFC decided to go with Etihad as the sponsor name for their new stadium.
New York City FC's new stadium will be called Etihad Park. A 20-year agreement will see Etihad Airways retain exclusive naming rights for the stadium being built in Willets Point, Queens, scheduled to open in 2027.

Funny how studios fired actors, writers and other staff for standing with Palestine yet they allow and reward open transphobic views under the pretense of free speech. Their hypocrisy is so astounding.

This is precisely why 'apolitical' people are so dangerous. It becomes an exercise in personal convenience. If it's convenient for them to celebrate immigrants, they will. If it's convenient for them to demonise immigrants & weaponise hatred, they'll just as happily align with xenophobic ideologues
