I don't post here often but I thought it was appropriate. It's been a busy day so it has taken some time to process the news of Lynch's death, but I started thinking about how that first viewing of Mulholland Dr. has lingered with me even though that 18 yo college kid has faded into a 40 yo dad .

Rogue One is such a satisfying a movie - it's taken a few years to rewatch it (not sure why). Anyway - memorable characters, great action, a terrific performance from Whitaker - and a far better focus on the theme of heroism than TLJ.

This reminds me that there are Christmas trees in Goodfellas - normalize a Die Hard, Goodfellas, Se7en marathon on Christmas
Se7en is a Christmas movie because people talk about the Bible and Brad Pitt gets a present at the end.
