I knit, I read, I sew. I've tried most textile crafts and am even half way competent at some not listed. Not tatting though or lace.

I cosplay. I read fanfic. In fact I will read almost anything.

Auto correct, that should read windows, not wi down.

I've seen it in real life at a yarn show and it is fabulous!

Morning Womble, I'm good and hope you're feeling better. I've moved onto @poopraven.bsky.social Spells of Summer which so far does appear to be, for this writer, cosy. Waiting for the terrible trauma to start. Also reading through a new series of fantasy romance fairy tales, which are short & good.

Sometimes "oh bright colours please!" This is the first time I've been asked specifically for a gendered colour. But as the only thing we are guaranteed to have in common is work, I always ask! 2/2

My standard response to questions like that is "No, I can't make you one but I can show you how to make your own".

Also sew in labels are great and a whole new rabbit hole to fall down! Kylie and the Machine are my favs.

but a very different plague and very different results, and it's a very interesting world building.

I also want to re-read Raymond E Feist's Magician series. Which I think I first read in 1985 or 6. And again when I got an ereader. So, what series do people return to? I'm curious!

I feel that post covid it may hit differently. I think I read it in 2012 or so. I also want to re-read Aliette de Bodard's Dominion books. They were the first books of Aliette's I read and just blew me away.

I also want to re-read KM Avery's books which feature a plague, like Kim Harrisons, 2/3

For family history purposes I have a few trade directories, and maps as well of that area, but maybe 20 years previous. So I shall see whether that was there earlier!
