I am reading the first Witcher novel, Last Wish (actually it's a short story collection it seems?), and after only 80 pages I have already had my fill of gibberish, consonant-heavy names that I can't quite tell apart.
This is why I tend to avoid fantasy. Nary a Bill or Susan to be found.

A buddy who works for an undisclosed tech company told me how they found someone dead on the job. Came in on the weekend to do some work and keeled over. That’s gotta be one of the saddest, most horrifying things I’ve heard.
