I want to see his Garfield plaque. “Hated mondays, loved lasagna - and donald j trump! Faced repeated invasions but shipped those immigrants right back to timbuktu! They don’t let you do it anymore, but we will, and when we do it we’re not gonna put air holes in the box, i can tell you that much”
President Donald Trump has added partisan and subjective plaques to a refashioned West Wing walkway he calls the Presidential Walk of Fame. The plaques include bombastic language, from “Sleepy Joe” Biden references to painting Republican icon Ronald Reagan as a fan of a young Trump.

Found out this weekend plecos can jump out of tanks. One of the kids let us know they can dry out and then revive upon re-wetting, after up to 30hrs out of water. Our fish was not Jesus. It did not resurrect on Easter. No sacrilegious events in our house. This week.

One of Musk’s buds runs IVF clinics?!? Feels like foreshadowing. We gonna get a spate of ppl in 10-20 yrs finding out their kids were actually made using Musk’s sperm without their knowledge or consent?

New — Here is a running list of Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) offices that have either been fully eliminated or gutted into non-functionality as a result of today's mass firings (provided to me directly by a CDC staffer):

If someone hands you a prehistoric sculpture of someone telling Ol’ Toppy to giddy-up, something’s wrong. But what? Scientists have firmly established that humans and (non-avian) dinosaurs didn’t coexist, and that prehistoric people imagined different pasts than we do when they encountered fossils.

Finished Sarah Brooks’ “Cautious Traveller’s Guide to the Wastelands” and really enjoyed it. I often feel in fantasy and sci fi that there aren’t enough stand alone novels, but this was a time I wished for a follow up! It’s good to not have all the answers sometimes, tho

Finished putting together a model from Ugears, a mechanical model co out of Ukraine whose products are 100% wooden. It’s a hurdy gurdy, an old musical instrument. It plays but the dominant sound is “wood squeaking” :). Still got it to play ode to joy recognizably tho!
