Absolutely stunning & superbly rendered eagle on a 7th century Pictish symbol stone found at the Knowe of Burrian, Harray, Orkney in 1936. The stone was on a probable broch mound and was broken across the mirror symbol. At the Orkney Museum, Kirkwall. 📷 mine 2023
