This is my kind of good trouble.
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Air traffic controllers unpaid. Flights delayed & cancelled.

And now Trump is shutting down 10% of air traffic at our busiest airports, including Boston Logan.

Republicans must reopen the govt.

I'll keep fighting for our airport workers & their rightful pay.
The Trump administration said it would reduce air traffic in 40 of the busiest markets in the U.S. if the shutdown continues. The cuts would take effect on Friday, potentially forcing hundreds of thousands of travelers to suddenly change plans. nyti.ms/47V3ZqN

John Marshall famously declared that “the power to tax involves the power to destroy.” Our Constitution is premised on limiting the power of the state. Judicial conservatives claim to cherish this idea. Let’s see. www.thebulwark.com/p/which-cons...

The CDC shooting didn’t even really register in the news and the details are absolutely insane
First the terrorist tried to enter campus in a car filled with guns. When he wasn’t allowed past the gates, he started firing from a CVS drugstore across the street. From a semi-automatic weapon, 500 shots is a lot. He was at it for a long time.

Here are the weapons & shell casings he left behind.

Trump has no idea who stopped supplies to Ukraine... meanwhile in the past month he's redecorated the cabinet room, picked out where to put in a new flag pole, and is designing a new area for the rose garden to throw parties.

Who's president while he's playing first lady?

The kind of attacks that come from the misleading distortions the NYT is drumming up by amplifying this hatemonger culminate *directly* in things like the recent political assassinations in Minnesota. The NYT should either disavow this tactic or agree that it’s appropriate to point at their execs.

The name “Crémieux” that Jordan Lasker uses is a specific, deeply anti-Muslim dog whistle: a reference to the Crémieux Decree — the official anti-Islam policy of colonial France, making Muslims in Algeria second-class citizens. Who the fuck even *knows* that, let alone makes it their _name_? Bigots.
