Back on January 28 a Redditor downloaded a massive cache of CDC datasets (they say it's all the public datasets but I've not verified that). Over the weekend, they uploaded everything they had to Internet Archive: archive.org/details/2025...

If you use CDC data and need access, go here first.
CDC datasets uploaded before January 28th, 2025 : Centers for Disease Control and Prevention : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
An archive of all CDC datasets uploaded to https://data.cdc.gov/browse before January 28th, 2025. Excludes corrupt datasets and data not publicly accessible.

Okay, I cannot recommend 5calls.org enough. Enter your address and it will find all your reps (federal and state). AND give you a list of issues to call about AND which reps to call about each of them AND a little script for each, in case it's helpful. They have an app, too.

Spend 5 minutes. Make 5 calls. Make your voice heard.

As others point out: if calling isn't an option, texting via @resist.bot is a great alternative!

And faxing via faxzero.com allows you to fax for free from your computer--good for when you can't get through via phone.

After 27 years, I always start reassuring myself "this is what it's like every year" so my anxiety mechanisms don't get too activated. And then I take time off for myself so I don't feel stressed about "chasing" clients.

Good to know! This applies to business and personal psychology.

I'm keeping this in mind as the New Year is almost upon us.

🥶 When it comes to houseplants and the people who grow them, there’s not much to love about winter. The days are short, cold, and often gray, temperatures plunge during the long nights, and dry heat from furnaces and fireplaces sucks moisture from the air. www.treehugger.com/how-help-you...
How to Help Your Houseplants This Winter

✨🌸 It’s Floral Friday!

Normally, I post pics of flowers I have grown throughout the years…

BUT I have been neglecting to show my houseplants:

✨🌱 Caladium

I have been a ‘plant person’ for about 7 years

Most of what I learned is through trial & error

They all have their quirks ✨🤸🏻‍♀️

I have a guess if I might… plectranthus Australis or verticillatus. Commonly known as Swedish Ivy. For me it’s a houseplant or annual but could be perennial where you are. Same genus as dead-nettle.
