I appreciate this may sound weird or obvious, but I think my freezer is too cold. Does anyone else have this problem?

Just being out on a Blocklist of people that enjoy AI by someone called bsky.app/profile/cotr... not only do I not like AI, I don’t understand it or use it. How curious

Anyone who enjoys scathing reviews, this one by Simon Sheridan from ‘Keeping the British End Up’ is sublime. It gets more crazy the more you read. On ‘The Great British Striptease’ presented by Bernard Manning…

I saw them at Finsbury Park & literally could not believe what I was watching & hearing & spent the whole gig just watching Reni play. Never seen anything like it before or since. Like @iammilliam.bsky.social lamented. It’s tragic he only appears on two albums. What a waste.
I watch this every time I am feeling a bit miserable and want to remind myself what humans are capable of. He plays with effortless swing and grace, pinching cymbals like he’s picking daisies and harmonising so sweetly it’s as if he’s dragging Ian Brown back into key. youtu.be/4PBU_N5x4ls

Feels like my weekend is already over. Disaster in the cricket. Very depressing. And now I have to go for a 9k run in freezing rain. Brilliant. Just brilliant. #ashes

A quiet night in with wine listening to old music. Such a wonderful LP, surprised Slowdive weren’t bigger, I just missed the Shoegaze movement because I was too young, coming of age in Britpop. But like most things in my life, I always identified with an earlier time & not the one I was living in

Saw this vintage Lotus f1 car from 1980 when I was strolling through Piccadilly last week. Magnificent to see it. Always had a passion for old motor racing when it was interesting and not a capitalist health and safety exercise.

Forgot how good this tune was. Also just noticed just how funky that bass is for a kids theme tune. Wonder if that’s where I got my love of funk from? Subliminally watching the Family Ness cartoon as a child? Move over Bootsy Collins!

Happy Beaujolais day to all who celebrate the gloriously juicy* wine that is Beaujolais Nouveau!

Dating back 200+ yrs, winemakers in the south France would rush out the new vintage of their wines at the earliest possible date so it could be consumed young and fresh.

So Mani from the Stone Roses has died. I loved his bass playing so much I named one of my cats Mani (the one on the right)

That’s another major part of my youth gone.

Taking this further. It’s depressing to think people would also have to dress in tracksuits, crocs and baseball caps instead of velvet tunics, shiny breast plates and hats with big feathers
If the UK is on the brink of civil war, as Musk claims, it follows that in 300 years time there will be be a new generation of civil war re-enactment societies.

I do have a passion for glassware & also Art Deco and well, I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen anything more beautiful. Opalescent glass Art Deco sculpture by French artist Lucille Sevin (created between the 1920/30s)

At an AI curated wine tasting. Partly because the robot was so cute on the flyer I wanted to be able to post it on social media. Some…interesting choices.. V taking copious notes. Mine consist of “lovely stuff” & “drinkable” which I appeared to have spelt “drinkably”… cheers!

Watching a Wim Wenders documentary which is so BORING it’s actually quite spectacular. Nothing should be this boring. It’s remarkable. I will think about this dreary flaccid celluloid for years. It’s staggeringly beige
