Moon often goes unnoticed. Once, in a full room, I mentioned how Moon was used to find directions. And everyone in the room corrected me that Moon only comes out in the night. I had to literally open the window and have them look at the Moon during the day time.

Learning what phases there are, when to expect them to rise and set, and the reminder that the Moon is up in daytime half the time! They liked being able to immediately *see* the change in their knowledge - folks said they look up more now. 3/ 🧪🔭🌒

Make any post about Indian problems like casteism, cleanliness, women's safety, pollution, and at least one reply will be "our Kerala/Maharashtra/Bengal/TN are slightly less worse 😎💪🏽" flexing.

This mentality of instantly pointing how we are less worse than others is why India languishes.

Whirlpool Galaxy (M51)
Less than an hour of integration time under Bortle 2 skies.
The larger galaxy M51a is interacting with the smaller galaxy M51b. Gives us a glimpse of how our own Milkyway might interact with Andromeda galaxy in a few billion years.
