Funny thing about protectionism, it works both ways. I don't believe this particular decision was protectionism, but Governments can't demand people buy only products built domestically but then expect countries to buy their products

I had the privilege of touring Alstom's Crewe works this morning to see the latest investment in the HVAC facility at Crewe, which included the installation testing "cells" which can simulate in service use. The facility is currently used to overhaul Class 390 & Electrostar HVACs
