A lesson all of Europe should have learned in 2014. If we wanted to avoid the refugee crisis, we should have listened to the French and killed Assad. The age in which we passively stand by and watch conflicts happen, must end.
Welcoming Ukrainian refugees treat the consequences. But first and foremost you need to fight the cause of this situation. Which means blowing as many Russian tanks as we can

An observation one barely notices in the Nobel Prizes is that for several years now the European scientists that win them all work in the U.S. That's a problem. We have great public education systems that produce great scientists. But they all leave for better wages at U.S science institutes.

Trump: I'm so disappointed with President Putin. I thought he would get this thing over with… He should have had this war done in a week. And I said to him: You don't look good. You've been four years fighting a war that should have taken a week. Are you a 'paper tiger'? And… it's a shame.

Might sound cynical. But we Europeans should absolutely be opportunistic vultures that circle the U.S and scrape up anything we can from Trump's mistakes. If he alienates Canada and Mexico, it's a perfect starting ground to negotiate trade treaties between them and us.
