In summary, when I first heard Nevermind I felt like I’d just been born. When I heard the chorus of Pennyroyal Tea I thought the world was about to end. Absolutely spellbinding music the likes of which has rarely been approached since.

Fair enough. assumed you were taking the piss. I adore the sound on In Utero but Nevermind just pips it because of Cobain’s prolific songwriting genius which hadn’t blossomed on Bleach imho. In Utero has fewer works of genius but moments like Scentless Apprentice are up there with anything they did
