January 22 2024 Guts went blind this week, twice! He recovered both times, but it’s still stressful to deal with as a theoretical next time could be permanent. It was strange watching him steer his way around using only his whiskers. I took him to the vet after the first one. All tests came back normal. The second time he recovered in an hour. All Ken can have now is suspicions, but hopefully the only worry he’ll have for a while is his empty wallet.

I've always disliked the "I Am No Man" moment in Peter Jackson's Return of the King because it fails to capture the fact that when the Witch King threatens Eowyn with horrific unimaginable torment, she responds by making him soil his ghostly britches.

So I know everyone else is playing Baldurs Gate 3, while I have to wait like a chump for the PS5 release.
But in the meantime I've been playing Spider-man: Miles Morales and I just finished it. Have to say I liked it better than the 1st game, not nearly as much copaganda which is a big plus already.
