#InfoOnline25 end of day one thoughts: all speakers brought the conversation back to prioritising self-determination; bringing Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing into libraries; & non-Indig leaders partnering with Indigenous people 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽 however

tuned into ALIA #InfoOnline25 & my main takeaways from the morning discussions are:
1) there’s a disconnect between aspirations & reality re. implementing Indigenous protocols;
2) #IndigenousLibrarianship is its own discipline, not an add on;
3) allies must stop centring themselves & listen to us.
