Young people are already taking on leadership roles with climate action. Don't include young people as part of an inclusion measure, empower them to lead! #InfoOnline25

#InfoOnline25 as an academic librarian, it’s great to hear how deakin uni library are bringing #IndigenousKnowledges into teaching, learning & research 👩🏽‍🎓 highlights: working alongside Indigenous staff is a must; test new initiatives; don’t expect users to know how to use resources immediately

i especially loved the positioning of Māori as partners in this work, the questioning of structural power, the need for library leadership to commit to change (top-down approach), and bringing language into library spaces 💌 #InfoOnline25

these are all areas in which i am still learning and growing—great to understand what's happening on a more global scale and how it fits into the LIS sector ✨ #InfoOnline25

#InfoOnline25 i really appreciate Patricia Adjei unpacking the current gaps between IP legislation & #ICIP; touching on 24-years worth of discussions from #WIPO; & discussing AI concerns such as the ethical sourcing of AI & safeguarding ICIP from AI data scraping 👾
