On Facebook, someone has requested this drawing be turned into a photo so they can trace the person who’s stolen their washing line. Shall I turn him in? #ncfc #bigvlad

Totally this. My kids will be quite relieved not to get party clips from me though.
I of course also filmed the “Under the Moon of Love” scene - WHY can these people feel the rhythm of a waltz but not the beat of a pop song?

I am so going to miss the party scenes in The Brothers

Just found this photo of my now-husband, aged 22. Clothes from Form on Castle Street, Norwich.

He LOVES that styling! This is the anorak I’m obsessed by, sure I had a similar one in the 1970s. He has teeny tiny shoulders too.

A lot resting on this lad in the #universitychallenge final tonight. (Linguistics student to boot 💪🏼) Usually support the non-Oxbridge team, but for the high-elbowed pillocks of Warwick, am making an exception.

We’re not remotely religious but we agreed today that the church of St Bartholomew the Great in the City could have us both believing.

My mum is today celebrating the 77th anniversary of my dad’s original date for the St Patrick’s Day Dance having an upset stomach at the last minute, and taking her place (forever!) Proper Cinderella story this, mum was a hairdresser and had already done Betty’s hair for the occasion.

Fantastic Barbara Walker exhibition at the Arnolfini in Bristol - beautiful drawings giving prominence to the black characters in old paintings; and powerful images of the Windrush generation on whom the burden of proof fell to justify their citizenship despite years of service to this country.

Any ideas for something to do in Bristol tonight? #ncfc

Got a school reunion tonight. Friend just sent me this, bunking off lessons the last day of 5th form (May 82). A few “old girls” are going to be missing because they’re having new knees, at funerals - and worse. Tempus fugit and all that.
