I worked at Hard Rock Cafe in NYC, @stephencolbert.bsky.social came in for an event, I was working the door. He entered in an epic bald eagle jacket. He shook everyone’s hand, introduced himself. He repeated all our names and remembered them when the event ended. He was lovely. Long may he reign.

I’m finding watching The Pitt therapeutic because the stress of an intense emergency room is somehow easier to handle than real life news. Even with the brief triggering pandemic flashbacks.

I’m starting to realize most people don’t know what DEI means or does. What it doesn’t do is hire people who are unqualified for a job. What it DOES do, one of the many things, is stop a company firing you when you get pregnant or not hiring you because you are. I hate it here.

I will have an answer for my daughter when she asks what I did to prevent this regime and to fight it when it became a reality. But right now I am seething and hopeless and drained and baffled people chose this. That people believed this man wants to do good. Sadly we will all reap what YOU sowed.

Not enough people are talking about the part in Wizard and I when the stained glass degreenifies Elphaba. I gasped and was in total awe at such a simple effect being so powerful.

It’s totally normal to be planning a solo 1-2 day trip to Disney to ride Dinosaur a few more times when it sets a closing date. Just saying it out loud in case anyone (not me) needs to hear it #dissky
