Speaking as one of @jesseforindy.bsky.social’s constituents, it’s been refreshing to have a rep that actually gives a damn about me and my neighborhood. I’m angry about this but unsurprised.

A reminder not to overlook informants! Research revealed my 2x-great-grandpa's siblings also came to the US from Sweden, but I'd never heard about them here. Charles (Carl) died in Utah, unmarried. The informant on his death cert? One of his nieces in Chicago, my grandma's aunt. #genealogy
