Well hey, if they succeed in murdering millions of Americans while driving away all immigrants, just think how annoyed they'll be when labor relations become much less favorable for them. You know, for any hardy survivors, I guess.
Fentanyl. Drug Overdoses, including Fentanyl, are not even in the top 20 causes of death in the USA. Cancer, Diabetes, Covid, Heart Disease all in the top 10, and all have had their research funding cut. They aren't murdering just Venezuelans. However they are killing us much slower.

I favor a thing put forward by Lois M Bujold: everyone should get a contraceptive implant after puberty. And then have a big party and a rite of passage when they choose to take it out. Also from her: people should have to earn credits via social service to earn the right to have kids.

I'm buried in a blanket with the dog, who has stuffed his face under me as he often does. It's 55 degrees in my house. But I can't bring myself to turn on the heat; I hate how stuffy heated houses are. Meanwhile my son is still wearing shorts and a flimsy old T-shirt. #viking
