My last lot came in with supermarket basil plant. Once they’re in, if you don’t mitigate numbers they just keep breeding.

1. Get a little carnivorous plant. They’ll gobble them up.
2. Make traps: 1/4 fill a ramekin with cider vinegar, and spoon of sugar, cover with clingfilm them make a few holes just big enough for them to get in.
3. Bleach or boiling water down all your sink holes. That’s where they like to breed.

I have solutions for fruit flies if you want them? They breed like CRAZY and will probably not die off if the house is at all heated.

That’s fantastic news. I’ve always thought we need an independent bookshop closer than Corbridge or Newcastle and occasionally toy with the idea of starting a mobile independent bookshop.

The flip side of that is most of us WERE a day one-er but don’t know it.

Also worth reminding people not to fill the gaps if they’ve already reached the max number of years that count towards increasing the pension.
