I was most happy with how the #synapse scene turned out, using the #neurons as a holdout for the pre and post synapse volume densities with distance out of focus.
To answer nobody's burning question, yes I was thinking about the Mind Flayer (Stranger Things) the entire time.

I really enjoyed making this #neuro #visualization for @e11bio.bsky.social last November. A pleasure working with them, the entire way through. I'm really excited to see their technology scale up.
