I want all of you dunking on this to imagine living somewhere where a USD2.99 itch game is more expensive than your lunch.

TTRPGs are expensive. D&D is especially expensive.
I think it's why TTRPGs have never truly gained mass appeal and remain niche. I think it's why the faces of the hobby are often white, middle class and above. Same goes for the people making games.
It's the biggest barrier to entry in this hobby.
