As highly populated as it is, the LA area is spread out and has many microclimates. Although the devastation is indeed real, the whole city wasn't aflame.

Earlier this year, I became president of one of the 99 Neighborhood (Empowerment) Councils in Los Angeles: West Adams!!

Yesterday evening was our monthly in-person board & stakeholders meeting.

While we fell short on board quorum, there was clearly new energy afoot among stakeholders :)
