I and a lot of Californians volunteered in Nevada both traveling to the state and doing hotline and call work from California. Disgusted that BOTH Nevada Senators are in the caving group with Cortez Masto in from the beginning. Good luck winning in the future.

NEW: The US Army website for its bases in Bavaria, Germany told its soldiers and employees that it might need to obtain free food from the German government during the US government shutdown.

In an unprecedented move, Austria is regulating rents for the entire country.

All apartments that already have government regulation have seen a total rent freeze this year.

All formerly unregulated units are also getting rent stabilization to limit landlord rent hikes.

Important to be precise here. The home rule act doesn't allow MPD to be put under federal control. It allows the president to "direct the Mayor to provide him, and the Mayor shall provide, such services of the Metropolitan Police force as the President may deem necessary and appropriate."
