Hoping the world doesn’t go fully to shit in the next five years 😬

PS: genocide apologia, transphobia, spam, & dickheadery will all get you blocked
You do understand how coalitions work right? They wanted PR, the Tories wanted FPTP, AV was the compromise. How can you possibly be mad at an improvement to the current situation??

Science usually cites its sources.

I tried to go for an ADHD diagnosis and the guy told me I couldn’t possibly have it because my grades were too good as a kid

Like I’m sorry, have you ever spoken to a single academic??

I imagine being bankrolled by multimillionaires helped.

Also sounds like incompetence: thinking that all you need for a political party is some policies and a charismatic figurehead or two, and not an entire logistical infrastructure

If there’s growth above CPI, then people have more money overall - that’s what CPI is designed to measure. It uses a “basket” of goods that the average person would buy in a year, including housing. A greater proportion of your income goes on housing but you can have more/nicer things overall!

The poor also got wealthier, by a long way, 1980 to 2025. This is verifiable fact, just look at a graph of real income.

you aren't an antifascist!

I’m hoping that’s because the time from Leeds has been cut and not the other way round 😅
November 9, 2025 at 3:18 PM
And likewise that in Nottingham I’m only half an hour closer to London than I was in Leeds!

Because if she refused to then the full 6-3 court would’ve issued a stay with far fewer conditions and no deadline. By issuing it herself she retained some control.

I honestly think you are not being the slightest bit realistic about what the US is like outside of NYC. I was in NJ last week, my partner is from there, there were MAGA signs everywhere. And that’s not to mention that the relatively centrist candidate who won there *won an open primary*!

What do you mean?
November 7, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Ok but I’m not just talking about Texas. Democrats had big wins in New Jersey and Virginia and they weren’t running socialists.

Do you think they would’ve won New Jersey if they’d run a socialist instead?

They should be less afraid to run them where appropriate but it’s not a universal strategy.

Well yeah that too (if by Zionist we mean a supporter of the Israeli genocide + apartheid) but it’s still a mistake to overgeneralise from this win
