I saw kilts and suddenly remembered it was the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow Green. Pipe band competitions provoke some of my favourite childhood memories, and there's also the sensory fun of all my hair standing on end, but it's not what I was doing in town. I was also able to briefly show support for the Free Palestine march going through the city centre, but I was on my way home, and trying my very best not to pass out from the heat & humidity.
