Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme of “eye contact” has me immediately thinking of songbird banding sessions I’ve sat in on at Oak Hammock Marsh, Manitoba. Every captured bird gives its own variation of stink-eye while data is collected. This yellow warbler is saying it’s got places to be – dammit. #birds
