Finally got some new PC parts. Installed #Fedora 42 yesterday and played some #CS2. #Gnome is not my cup of tea, so I've installed #Tumbleweed with #KDE today and now I have ~100 FPS more with the same settings in CS2.

Turns out the older FR255 model has a shit HR sensor and Garmin doesn't seem to care anymore for this model. Back on Apple Watch, turned off almost all notifications for peace of mind, which makes this watch a bit dumber. On the bright side: I like the rings stuff and trying to fill them.

Had a #Garmin #Forerunner 255, switched to an #Apple Watch 10 two months ago and yesterday got another FR255. Selling the AW now and couldn't be happier. Having an #iPhone on your wrist in addition to the one in your pocket was just too much. And don't get me started on battery life 😂

I think modern computer software was a mistake and we should go back to our roots of developing for limited hardware.
The same amount of electricity that could power MS-DOS for a year is now used to ask Copilot how to save a Word document to your local Desktop instead of OneDrive.
