Stop the presses, ya'll. I have successfully made 1 pair of socks. This is try 4 or 5. I got impatient cutting the sock tube and had to patch a bunch of things. But they work and they're comfy and I love these colors.

Layoffs are in season. Losing your job doesn't have to be an existential crisis. With universal health care in the United States, businesses could "right-size" their operations without someone losing health insurance. Scarcity is a condition we create, not an inevitable consequence.

Sometimes you find a mushroom that matches your socks. These were both nommed on and surrounded by moss and ferns. In a previous post I misidentified moss as tiny ferns because the scale was hard to judge. Don't rely on my ids, enjoy the pretty pictures and correct me if I'm wrong. :) #fungifriday
