Excellent work by @eddavey.libdems.org.uk - we need to hear this from the PM too

Can anyone explain to me what counts as legitimate protest in the U.K. these days? I’m baffled. We should celebrate attacks on police as vibrant free speech but condemn pensioners with slogans on t-shirts and @ledbydonkeys.org with a projector?

Far right organisers in this country consistently side with foreign billionaires over our democratic institutions.
They are not patriots.
They are quislings.

That feeling of desperately wanting your elected government to loudly call out racism & far right violent extremists...

And nothing.

Labour so afraid to lose power, it has forgotten both how to use it & that with power comes responsibility.

As America gets ever darker, too little light here.

Angela Rayner should’ve been sacked.

From backing the two-child benefit cap, cutting winter fuel & disability benefits to defending a government enabling genocide in Gaza — she repeatedly chose the government & its harmful policies over the working class & labour movement she claims to represent.

Our privatised water system is broken - and water lobbyists have worked hard to shut down alternatives. In July the People’s Commission is launching a people-first vision for our water in Parliament.Your MP needs to hear about it: actionnetwork.org/letters/ask-...
Ask your MP to show their support for a people-first future for our water!
We can make our water work for people - not shareholders - but water lobbyists are working hard to shut this solution down. Will you make sure your MP hears about it?

The outrage from the establishment over artists speaking out about genocide is pretty unbelievable.

It shows youth have rumbled their game in the internet age.

Probably impossible now for any artist who doesn’t speak out against genocide to have any credibility with anyone but deranged fascists.

When senior Israelis are convicted of #genocide, they should not face jail time.

Instead, they should spend the rest of their lives in #Gaza: Clearing rubble, returning body parts to families, tending the injured, and fetching and carrying for amputee children.

😡 Thames Water wanted to use a £3bn emergency loan to pay its executives huge bonuses.

🤮 This after Thames discharged 50% more raw sewage into rivers in 2024.

The bonuses have been stopped, but the message is clear: end the scam and bring water back into public hands.

Why does Starmer's Labour Party seem determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
Because it hates the left more than it fears the far right.
As a result it won't do the "left" things so many of its potential supporters are crying out for.
