Since I no longer had a reason to leave town, I spent the next 24 hours either in an airplane or at an airport desperately trying to get back home. 0/5 - would not do again.

My area of practice doesn’t involve family law, but I like keeping tabs on more prominent appellate cases since: (1) their facts are nifty; and (2) their outcomes will likely affect folks close to me in important ways.

Context: I went in blind. I had never seen the Wizard of Oz or heard much of the original Wicked soundtrack. Girlfriend carried the day in whispering brief context for me so I didn’t end up too confused.

But my god. The sheer talent in that film.
