My favorite scene in The Lord of the Rings is when Treebeard recites the scene from the The Threepenny Opera where Mack the Knife sings about loving the wild, uncultivated forests and Penny prefers to tend to her gardens and then Mack looses track of her. It is very moving.

A long time ago I had a book called "City Wars". Yeah. That seems to be going on now. Not the greatest work of literature but ... sigh.

The number of commercial breaks during the TDF stream is absolutely obnoxious. There has to be another way to do this. They do off-stream commercials, and THEN run "The Feed" commercials side-by-side during the stream.

My latest guilty pleasure is using AI to better understand music theory and I have to say I have learned a lot about chord voicings and Vince Guaraldi and why certain chord progressions reminded me of the Peanuts theme music.
