As someone who was, and is, persistently strange about cars, this excellent thread is more comforting than I can explain.
🧵In the late-90s I got obsessed with cars. Not Ferraris and Porsches, ALL cars currently in production in Britain. I'd buy What Car magazine and I used to carry around a copy of Parkers guide. I dreamed of presenting Top Gear.

As someone who was, and is, persistently strange about cars, this excellent thread is more comforting than I can explain.
I often wonder, when on hold to a company, because their app or online site says please call, if anyone working there realises the constant on hold messages about 'use our app, or use our online website' could be a little tone deaf?
