Wat nu nodig is, is dat politici worden geconfronteerd met wat hen te wachten staat als zij een genocide blijven goedpraten. Ze moeten zich schamen en vrezen voor hun goede naam en baan. “Yesilgöz, die de genocide ontkende…” iedere keer dat zij ter sprake komt. Het is niet veel maar een begin.

All of these kinds of cases will be akin to testing the waters. Whatever illegal bullshit they can get away with will become the new normal.
The details are disturbing. It basically looks like a kidnapping. They even got his legal status wrong but proceeded to detain him anyway. The agents didn’t even identify themselves at first and refused to show a warrant.

It was remarkable and refreshing to hear John Steward say that “Capitalism is inherently exploitative” on the DS. The real left (no, not you social democrats & US “Democrats”) would do well to build on this sentiment. We might not know what the best alternative is, but at least we can say: not this!

Sometimes I think about how our grandchildren will be taught how WWIII started when Russia invaded Ukraine. Or how our great great grandchildren will just refer to this time as the ‘era of the great wars’ and start of the climate catastrophe. I wonder what they’ll have learned that we can’t see rn

Psychedelic influencers would benefit from raising their class consciousness in addition to their spiritual consciousness. I mean, yeah I sit meditation and drop acid and realize it’s at all vibration but in the end of the day it means very little if you’re not actively opposing genocide and fascism
