Oh wow wasn't expecting you to talk about my favourite band! Still extremly polarising in 2025. Bristle a little bit at "quirk" - I don't think anything is put on here, it's legitimately the music Tim Smith wanted to make. But very easy to see why you would feel overwhelmed/annoyed by it

After hearing about his podcast (around a year ago) I went on his Twitter page and the first thing I saw was him making some sort of wiser-than-thou comment about pro-Palestine protestors. Now many people i know listen to TREH and every time i have to tell them no, i'm not checking it out.

I got a content warning from Patreon for reviewing a movie about sex work. My account is labeled adult. My patrons all affirm they're adults in order to sign up. That people want to control where and how I can even TALK about sex is indicative of a deep, deep cultural sickness.
