Copilot and Meta AI both say The Orville has officially been renewed by Hulu and the fourth season began production in January. That's just another example of the failure of AI, because it hasn't and it didn't. It's just a rumor that's based on a throwaway comment that Scott Grimes made once.

I'm draining the battery of the new tablet so it can be recharged with an empty battery, which is, apparently, how you're supposed to recharge it for the first few times in order to maximize battery life or something. I'm not a tech wizard, so I'm just going with that.

Apparently, I was put on a list, because I suddenly have a bunch of insincere followers this morning. I'm not really happy about that. It's like being followed by bots. All it does is artificially raise your follower count, which makes it impossible to know how many people are actually interested.

Helpful hint: If you ever get the urge to make homemade fries that you slice yourself in an air fryer, fry them on the stove instead. It takes the guesswork out of wondering if they're all done, which the the ones I just made in an air fryer aren't. #Food

So, Firefox just updated itself, deleted the shortcut to it on my desktop (which used to be above the Brave shortcut) and replaced it with a 380 KB executable, which does the same thing as the shortcut. What the hell is that about, @mozilla.org?

I forgot how much of a shooter HL2 is. It isn't terrible about it, but running around shooting enemies and dodging bullets just isn't my thing. I'm more into games for the story and exploring the environment these days. I'll see how far I can get before blasting away at everything becomes too much.

I guess it's time to replay Half-Life 2, which I, apparently, haven't played since 2018. I'm off until Friday, so it'll give me something to do all week. Hopefully, I'll be called in before then, though. I need the money.

I've started rewatching #TheOrville again. I was going to wait a bit longer before I did, but things happened that made me want to restart early. I think enough time has passed for me to have forgotten enough of it to make it, at least, watchable again.
