Good thing I picked cycling to get really into, a hobby that has a VERY rational relationship between cost-of-gear and impact-to-performance

(they ARE too expensive though, i don't need all the Wilderness Technical Capabilities, they need to make a cheaper one that's "just barely good enough to walk to daycare")

in like third grade i got called to the principle's office and when i walked in i immediately started spilling my guts about every rule i had ever broken and the principle had to go "whoa whoa whoa we only brought you in to ask if you saw these other two kids fighting on the bus this morning"
