"Zelda games have bad stories" is a sentiment people have thrown around forever but I honestly really think it only applies fairly recently. I think BOTW, TOTK and Echoes of Wisdom have bad stories. And even then, BOTW is interesting thematically

the big problem with the current obsession a lot of analysts/media have with video games increasing their standard retail price is that "would you rather play our game for 70 dollars or fortnite for free" is already a value comparison almost every 70 dollar game loses and reflects in their sales

The idea that story-driven games aren’t replayable is so strange to me. I eventually bounce off every multiplayer game because I get bored, but I go back to story games again and again just like rewatching a favorite movie, or to experience something new
