The rally today in Honolulu was supposed to be from 11 to 1 but it was overflowing at 11 and still going at 2 when the handivan finally showed up. I am totally exhausted but it was worth the time as and effort. My sign said: NO FUHRER, NO GESTAPO, NO CONCENTRATION CAMPS.

Just finished up at the Evanston No Kings rally. It was safe, peaceful, and a show of solidarity by *at least* 1,000 people.

Go to your local protest. Don’t let this administration scare you. Stand with your community when our leaders won’t.

Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman was a friend who worked with Gabby to stop gun violence. We’re thinking of her children, who've now lost both their parents, and we’re praying for Sen. Hoffman and his wife, who are still fighting for their lives.

Stay strong.

A square mile doesn’t justify a $134 million military occupation, troops sleeping in squalor, or ICE agents terrorizing our communities. Americans feel unsafe. This Saturday, on #NoKingsDay, let’s show up in numbers—and send a message: we will not be ruled by a mad king.

I wonder why the first senator they've used physical force against is Sen. Alex Padilla, a Latino man representing California 🤔

The way Senator Padilla was handled by officials at Secretary Noem’s press conference is unacceptable. This treatment of a sitting senator is a disturbing infringement on checks and balances and constitutional norms.

Tragically, the outrageous assault of Sen. Padilla today is becoming normal behavior for a Trump administration which is moving us toward authoritarianism.
