We need a Software of the Left

Fedi's still there, but the trick with Software of the Left that no one's really made repeatable is getting people collectivized to reliably pay for anything, because that's not a technical problem

There are two games total that @princess.industries could tolerate playing with me (patience of a saint!!!!!!!), and Altered is one of them. I really respect what they are doing for keeping complexity down and clarity up, and in many ways neither goal gets the respect or thought it deserves.

it's such a pain in the ass. i've been failing at it for so long that it feels like the final boss of transition, and at this point i can definitely say that VFS is not a quick fix
