Please let 2026 be even somewhat better. Anything. I am so tired. I have no more left to give. My family is in shambles. Just anything, please. Any good news or something to bring hope.

Having my fill of this year. Two relative deaths, another with a minor stroke, and my grandma's health deteriorated to where my aunt with health authority is placing her in a nursing home sometime this week. Also my parent's farm being torn apart from tariff and government games among other things..

Anyone seeing this happen to own a Moto G Stylus (2025) and have any opinions? Looking for a new phone after Samsung decided to stop issuing updates to my 4yr old phone. My carrier doesn't offer many "mid-range" models and this is one of the only options. The SD card and 3.5mm jack IS a huge plus...

I know progress has to be made, but I really hate forced obsoletion of technology. I just now realized that my near perfect condition phone I bought in 2021 had its last security update. So even though it works great, I basically need to get a new one just to keep up with security. Such a waste...

If any W11 users happen to see this, do you have any guides handy of what to disable/remove/uninstall for a fresh W11 install? Or any settings that need to be tweaked at the beginning? Any advice would be appreciated!

After months longer and -way- more money than it should have been, I think I finally have all parts of my PC build (that I know of) now. Just have to wait until my health improves and I'll no longer be able to put off the process of building that I am absolutely dreading. 😃

Insurance is fundamentally gambling. Their existence is to make profit, not to save lives or property. They're betting that they'll make more money than any potential payout. If they can't--or won't--cover every legitimate customer's claim, it means the insurance industry is fundamentally a fraud.

Feels like everyone is trying to hoard all the computer components they can get before mid January hits. Been trying to spec out a new build for a little over a month and all my parts keep going "temporarily" out of stock and haven't restocked yet, or prices jumping considerably higher from demand.

That time of year for countless perfume/cologne commercials for the holidays. I wonder what the thought process are for creating them. They all seem to just be completely random scenes that don't really make sense followed by a random scent name at the end that doesn't go with the scenes?

So it seems that 'hot honey' is the newest (or at least brought back) food craze now? Seeing variations of it everywhere. Tons of honey brands on shelves, V8 has a new limited edition of it, multiple recipes on cooking shows. Even a new song with that title.

Once again growing up into a person that is unable to ask others for help or advice is causing me unnecessary complications and stress that I could surely do without.

Time to start serious thinking about buying a new computer. I was hoping to do it sometime next year, but with the recent US events it feels like I need to get it done before January before prices skyrocket to insane prices that just make it improbable to afford...
