As these ads appear everywhere in my workspace, I don’t understand the pitch, genuinely. Do I want to hire an artist who can’t describe her own vision? Do I want to be an analyst who hasn’t read the research, or hire that analyst? I sure as hell don’t want to read an analysis that nobody wrote.

HS teacher was reupholstering a chair with her rx glasses off, couldn’t get the big staple gun to fire, pressed it to her chest for leverage and sunk a half inch staple into her breastbone. She shouted at her husband “You loaded the staples backwards!”

The attacks during this campaign have been far more personal and negative (and misleading) than we were expecting. The good news? Seattle voters don’t seem to be buying it. The more the mayor attacks me, the more voters look at him skeptically.
