Aw, Millie's smile is so content and happy! This is our smiley little boy, Pete!

Spent the weekend sick and still feeling less than my best today. Got out a pot and started throwing in whatever healthy ingredients I could find to help me kick this. Healthy? Absolutely. Delicious? Very much so. Posting ingredients list:

My little baby boy, Jasper. My delightfully strange and wonderfully sweet middle child. The second baby my husband and I ever adopted. The peacekeeper of the family and trusted confidant of the spirits. Beloved by all whether they be human, other animals, or creatures from the void.

The face of a lady who, rather than attempt to drive her RWD sedan in 6" of snow, opted instead to walk over 2 miles to check on her friend's cats since her friend is experiencing travel delays. Anything for friends and cats. But mostly cats.

Even though the colder weather has the neighborhood silent in the afternoon, birds are still chirping away in the morning frost. I dig the Merlin app recording feature, comes in handy when I walk my dog. This morning I heard clouds of House Sparrows and some Dark-eyed Juncos (killer band name, btw).

I'm seeing other people posting pictures of their cats so here are mine (and my dog who thinks he's a cat) in all their feline glory. (Including my feral twin torties, The Geminis, on the bottom left since they've chosen me to watch over them and call my front porch home base).
