I build tech for good. I also talk a lot about stuff that makes you think.
Zohran Mamdani walking on stage to "Dhoom Machale" was incredible - it's a certified bollywood banger.

Right-wing Indian-origin politicians like Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Priti Patel, and Rishi Sunak would NEVER do this. The only Indianness they embrace are the white-approved parts.

This is terrifying, heartless, and genocidal. I cannot begin to imagine the horrors these prisoners must've experienced before being murdered.

A profligate verification exercise to confirm what is already evident, that migrants routinely exhibit greater linguistic proficiency than most, and certainly more than the far-right agitators for whom this policy has been performatively devised.

For those who want to email The Times in protest, I've copied @zoejardiniere.bsky.social's email into the alt for the image attached below (with a final paragraph added).

Just add your name at the end and send it to feedback@thetimes.co.uk

This article is about skilled migrants. And yet the photo you have for this article is asylum seekers on boats. This is how you scare a nation, this is how you manipulate people.

Here's another photo of a migrant.

Not so scary now, is it?

I'm a foreign national. I've been unemployed MANY TIMES but have NOT claimed a single penny in welfare.

I do not know a single immigrant who has ever taken welfare.

WHY? Because we come from countries where such support does not exist, so we plan for life not expecting it or wanting it, ever.

This analysis by Jeremy Bowen for the BBC is such a whitewash. It purports that the world is divided in two, one with the UK, which wants to end the war, and the US and Israel.

It's like the rest of the world does not exist and the UK has been on the conscientious side. Laughable.

Herzog is one of three men (others: Gallant, Netanyahu) directly named in the UN commission report published today which confirms that Israel is committing genocide and he is responsible. Last week, we welcomed him to Downing St.

How do people who support the monarchy reconcile their belief that it is purely ceremonial with the fact that "Royal Correspondents" write stories like this puff piece. How is this not political? Why is an unelected King schmoozing with a convicted felon and pretending to represent us?!

Instead, their first post is an attack ad.
