It must be exhausting to be a man constantly struggling with the question, “Are women people too?”

Side note, as a biz prof it makes me FURIOUS that education has been defunded because when we look back over history the time when most entrepreneurs have the energy and time to start bizs the most is in their 20s.
But now they don’t because they’re drowning in debt.
Such a stupid policy choice!

I broke my “no shopping” rule because this book has finally been translated from the Danish and is only available from DMC.com

The @canadianforces.bsky.social allows beards because so-called Beardos have strategic advantages over their clean-shaved counterparts.
Allowing folks not to be clean-shaven every day isn’t just about including Black men, it’s also about applying science to gain strategic advantages.

During World War One, Canadians encouraged one another to Buy Canadian.

Now that Buy Canadian First had been revived, maybe it’s time to re-issue these cute stamps. What do you think Canada Post?

The first version of the headline labelled the attack as “unprovoked.” Gross. Like other stabbings of women are provoked by us?
I’m thinking enough people complained because they’ve changed it.

Ack 😩 And double the newer house price by at least double if in metro Vancouver.
I’m so house-poor. It’s not even funny.

If you have a printer at home, you can print off an infographic or a poster that could help you have that convo tomorrow. Here’s just one of the good ones out there.

Joke is on him! I love paying taxes. I love having universal healthcare and dental care. I love having safe roads. I love the most vulnerable in my community being taken care of. I love programs to help reverse climate change.
Also, while I love Americans, I also love having a border between us.

Loving my new VOTE VOTE VOTE T-shirt by @madamepremier.bsky.social Not sponsored. Simply a big fan of Canadian companies and slogan tshirts.

Don’t mind my messy hair. I have just finished my weekly online dance class with Luminesque here in Vancouver.

RIP Val Kilmer, I loved you in “Willow” (1988 — on DisneyPlus). Will have to make the family watch it with me for movie night. 🕊️ 🎥

Thrilled to have found a Canadian-made protein powder that also uses New Zealand ingredients instead of from that Other Country. My 13yo agrees the blueberry flavour made with real Muskoka (Ontario) blueberries and with me adding frozen berries is fantastic!
Yeah!! 🇨🇦🫐🧋

This redheaded, green eyed leprechaun wishes you a Happy St Patrick’s Day ☘️
My citizenship is Canadian and most of my ethnicity is Irish.
Image says: “May your troubles be less, And your blessing be more. And nothing but happiness, Come through your door. Irish Blessing”

I’m having to re-watch episode 6 of “Undercover High School” because I still don’t entirely follow the 4 Myths of the School plot line. I think my problem is that I’ve learned too much about Korean history now to suspend belief.
What’s this about myth #3. Something about a piano?

Besides tea, what else helps calm nerves? It’s been 7 hours since the earthquake and I’m still feeling like my body is on an adrenaline high. Not good. I want to calm down and sleep well. Deep breathing exercises and yoga hasn’t worked.

Homemade low-carb mini waffles with sausage patties for supper.
Trying really hard to stick to the low-carb diet my doctor prescribed to improve my bloodwork and shrink my big belly.
Dieting is hard!!

It’s the first day of Reading Week and my To Catch-Up List is too long. I’m struggling with feelings of being paralyzed and overwhelmed.
My brain’s way of trying to help is to get me dreaming about Halloween-themed projects.
Like this one.🎃
Procrastinating with Halloween doesn’t seem helpful 🤦

Be kind to your family and friends working in post-secondary education. Due to almost-total de-funding of post-secondary education by provincial governments, programs have only been hanging on by international students subsidizing domestic students (which was never okay, either).
