You can absolutely do this. Iy looks harder than it is. It's just knits, purls, yarnovers and decreases. And if you can (learn to) read charts, it'll be even easier. (Imo. 😉)

This reminds me of a line of recycled yarn I last saw abt 8 yrs ago. The white bits were fibers spun from the plastic of plastic bottles. I want to say it was a Berroco product. But I don't find it now. (It's not the current Remix line.)
