I'm having trouble imagining any further depths to this cruelty (please don't help me!). Even if they didn't recognize this man's disability when abducted, they surely would have by the time they dumped him alone, without support. I hate to believe in this kind of dehumanization, but...

When I treated kids with cancer, every drug I used had serious, often life-threatening risks. But those risks were worth it because we knew they had efficacy.
